This show made me fall in love with the mockumentary genre and is the reason I love such films like This is Spinal Tap. What can someone say about this hilarious show except, wow! From Steve Carell’s Michael Scott, to John Krasinski’s Jim Halpert, this show has one of the best cast ensembles you will ever see on television, almost equal to Friends, Cheers, and Seinfeld. Every joke in this show has made me giggle and then eventually laugh out loud, in summary almost all of the comedy works in the show. Easily my favorite character in the show is Rainn Wilson’s Dwight Schrute, he gets the most laughs from me throughout the entire show and I can relate so much to him with his nerdy behavior. Michael Scott is easily my second favorite character in the show and was the reason this show worked in the first place, his lines in the show are unintended to be funny and he the best straight-faced moments in the show. Almost anyone who loves comedy-sitcoms needs to go through The Office, it’s a joy to go through in my opinion. I know that most people would say the show was dragged down after Michael Scott leaves, but I will say that there were still some funny moments in the final few seasons thanks to some of the other characters like Jim, Dwight, and Andy Bernard. It’s still one of my favorite shows in the end, and it will always be a great time.
